Arriving... We had around 35 people tonight

Trading Yesterday doing an acoustic set... Tait and Jon were great, the kids loved them, I did too (especially their totally rockin' version of Father Abraham)!

Debbie Garner spoke to the kids tonight about the spiritual man, making choices, and trusting Christ. She did a wonderful job and...

there were 4 decisions for Christ! AMEN!!!

Thanks Daniel for helping out tonight (even though you had a terrible headache) and I was glad Cole made it out and brought his mom (not pictured)

Harlen and Debbie Garner... You two are such a blessing! I love you guys and hope you can come back soon! (I wish I knew a dozen more just like you)! What a wonderful night! Goodnight.

Desire...

We put our time and effort into so many different things in life. Why do we do the things we do?

Let's just be honest... We do what we want to do. Unfortunately, we have a bad habit of wanting all the wrong things. C.S. Lewis wrote, “We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

Jesus put it this way;

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33


"Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it." Luke 17:33

The Apostle Paul added;

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

So... What do you want?
